Motoring Advisory Council

Innovative Motoring Policy...

One of the initiatives of the AMEP is the establishment of a Motoring Advisory Council (MAC), to work together with the Party and the Senator’s Office regarding policy and direction.

The MAC, as was envisaged, has developed into an important mechanism for the AMEP and the Senator’s Office, where we have an expert panel of people who can be called upon to provide advice, knowledge and support on motoring issues.

The Council consists of suitability qualified people and groups who represent the diversity of our culture. By combining knowledge, experience and resources, we can achieve far more together, than we can alone.

The list of issues, opportunities, Bills and Senate Inquiries that have been addressed over the past two years is quite impressive, and I don’t think anyone could of foreseen the amount of activity that has occurred federally in relation to motoring over the past ten months.  As we often say, it is no accident that we are here at this time in our political history.
